When to Use
- Giving your opinion
- 'I think...,' 'I believe...,' 'In my view...,' 'As far as I'm concerned...'
- Agreeing
- 'I agree.' 'That's a good point.' 'Exactly.' 'I think so too.'
- Disagreeing politely
- 'I see your point, but...' 'I'm not sure about that.' 'I understand what you mean, however...'
Tip
Avoid 'I think that...' in every sentence — it gets repetitive. Mix in 'It seems to me,' 'I'd say,' and 'From my point of view' to sound more natural and varied.
